When it comes to the care of the heart & cardiovascular system; quality B vitamins, fats, and mineral balance are of the most important.
B vitamins are water soluble, which means that they are not stored in the body and must be consumed each day. They are one of the most depleted vitamins in the Standard American Diet and with Rx's. And, among the most significant for energy and heart health.

What happens if we don't have enough B4?
Without B4, our cells and tissues would not be up to par and we would not be able to fight off viruses and infections due to our immune systems becoming quite compromised. No bueno!
Without B4, we would also not be able to maintain healthy blood sugar levels. Without this regulation, cells would begin to degenerate and mutate causing a plethora of free radicals in the body and speeding up the aging process. No thank you!
Some food sources of B4 include propolis and bee pollen, along with raw, unfiltered honey. Fresh fruits and vegetables also contain it as well as herbs and spices including cloves, thyme, sage, ginger, spearmint, jojoba, hawthorne, and blessed thistle. It's also found in bovine liver, beet root, nutritional yeast, defatted wheat germ, rice bran, carrot, sweet potato, and bovine adrenal tissues. Refined, processed foods deplete B4 so staying away from those is key to keeping it around.
