I am torn. Torn between two towns. I am sharing two perspectives below on how I feel about both of them as I make the transition from on to the other.
To my New Jersey Community:
Community. What does this word mean to you?
Community is a word that gives you the “warm fuzzies”. Especially now when we’ve had our communities disrupted over the last few months.
Community means togetherness. It means empowering each other. It means inspiring each other. It means embracing each other. It means listening to each other’s ideas. It means respecting one another. It means supporting each other. It means sharing visions, dreams, goals, and ideas. It means lifting each other up and elevating our vibrations. It means you’ve got your tribe and they’ve got you! It means that you’ve all got one big space in a huge blanket fort and you are all better together!
For me as a Jersey Girl, having the opportunity to build a practice in this community over the last 6 years has been incredible! I was encouraged with open arms, supported, embraced, respected, and inspired.
Words cannot adequately express how grateful I am to the NHIC South Jersey community, and the Cherry Hill community in general for allowing me to have the opportunity to open NHIC South and serve the incredible people here.
As I prepare to move to Des Moines in just four short weeks to make it my full-time home, I want to take a moment just to say thank you to my New Jersey family. This is not goodbye because I will be back monthly to see patients and I am leaving the practice in very good hands with two incredible practitioners.
New Jersey, your health is still and always will be my highest priority and I am leaving part of my heart here. I am still here for you and always will be.
You are the reason that I am here, and the reason that NHIC South Jersey will continue to thrive and flourish as it has from the day we opened our doors. I love you.

For me as an “outsider” to Des Moines, being embraced into this community over the last 2 1/2 years has been incredible! I was welcomed with open arms, supported, embraced, respected, and inspired.

As I prepare to move to Des Moines in just four short weeks to make it my full-time home, I want to take a moment just to say thank you! Thank you for inviting me here. Thank you for allowing me to continue to be here. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to fulfill my mission and purpose as a healer, and to help Iowa and beyond regain health without the use of unnecessary medications or surgeries.
I am here because of you. I am staying because of you. You are my community, and I love you.
With Love & In Health,
